Artists will be painting outdoors within a 15-mile radius of downtown La Crosse, WI creating works in oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, or gouache, each finished on site and prepared for exhibition.

Jon Erickson and Julie Johnston will be focused on wetlands, trees and bluffs for their painting locations this year as they both compete in the 12th annual Between the Bluffs painting event. There will be 4 artists (subject to change) demonstrating oil and watercolor painting. Our demonstrating artists are Jon Erickson, Kathie Wheeler, Paul Bergquist, and Bob Witte.
